Online Tournament Rules

1.  Any players caught cheating will be removed and may be suspended from future Washington Online Tournaments

2.  Teams have 10 minutes to start a match.  Any team that does not have all players checked in will be forfeited.  If both teams are not fully checked in after 10 minutes, a team will be randomly drawn to move forward, and the other team will be forfeited.

3.  A picture is required before starting the match.  Please make sure you are looking at the camera for a clear picture of yourself.

4.  All matches will be video refereed.  If a foul is committed it will not be tolerated and will result in the loss of game and/or match.

5.  Any player that throws out of turn, the points/marks will stand what they threw but then the team that threw out of order will skip their next 2 turns and then shoot in the correct order.  If a player throws out of order and wins the game, that game will be reversed, and an automatic loss will be recorded.
    a. Example: Player B throws out of turn on Player A’s round.  Player A will then skip their turn, Player B will skip their turn, and then player A will be up to throw.

6.  In Mixed events, the female must throw first.  If a team starts without the female throwing first, then the throw out of order rule will take effect.

7.  Full real names must be on the account before playing.  Washington Vending will edit player account info to reflect players real name.

8.  Substitute players are not allowed.  If your partner is not at the board when it is their turn to shoot, the player must be skipped.

9.  Any disrespectful gestures to other players on the camera will not be tolerated.  Only 1 warning will be given to disrespectful players.  After that, the player will be suspended from playing in Washington Online Tournaments.  If a player is removed from a tournament, the team will automatically forfeit any matches left and no refunds will be given.

10. Captains MUST provide a contact number so they can be reached by other teams.  Incorrect contact numbers could result in a forfeit if the other team cannot get ahold of the other team.

11. Tournament setup instructions are available at www.wavending.com/tournament-setup.  If it is your first tournament, please arrive early and start the check-in process.  The system will not wait and will forfeit after 10 minutes if all players are not fully checked in on consoles.

12. Matches can be played up to 30 minutes early if both teams are ready to play.  It is not mandatory for teams to start early if teams are ready.  Posted brackets have match start times.

13. To view brackets online, please go to www.play.phoenixdarts.com, click on Tournaments tab, and click on the tournament name you are participating in.

14. Players requiring the use of wheelchairs, risers, walkers, etc. are legal at the throw line as follows:
    a. Wheelchairs: When directly facing the board, the wheelchair's body must be behind the throw line. In any other position, the board-side wheel's contact point         must be behind the throw line.
    b. Walkers, etc.: The player's feet must be behind the throw line, but the support unit may be beyond the throw line.

 15. All stats are recorded, and players may be rerated at any time during the tournament.  If a rating places a team over the team cap, that team will be removed from the tournament and no refunds will be given.  Stats can and will be used to rerate players for future tournaments.

16. Player stats may be pulled from any leagues or tournaments not played on the Phoenixdarts Competition System.  The highest stats for a player will be used.  If you bust the team cap before the tournament starts, you will be notified, and a refund will be given.

17. Teams cannot be added after the registration time has closed, so please make sure you sign up early.

18. Disrespectful calls or messages to the Tournament Coordinator may result in a suspension from future Washington Online Tournaments.

19. If you throw a dart early, that dart will count as a missed dart.  You MAY NOT tap a dart that was thrown early.  You MAY use the Unthrow Dart option on the 1st or 2nd dart if scored incorrectly.  Once the 3rd dart has been thrown, the Unthrow Dart option is not available.

20. Abuse to a Phoenixdarts console will not be tolerated.  Any player caught abusing a Phoenixdarts console will be forfeited from the tournament and no refunds will be given to that team.  The player abusing the Phoenixdarts console may be suspended from all future Washington Vending events including leagues.
